To the best of my knowledge this puppy is in good health at the time of delivery. The buyer has three working days to have the puppy vet checked by their vet. If a licensed veterinarian discovers the puppy to be unsound, it can be returned for another puppy of equal value when it becomes available. No money is refunded. This is provided the puppy is returned within the three day period and is accompanied by a letter from the examining veterinarian stating in what respect the puppy is unsound. This guarantee is void should the buyer fail to have the puppy examined within the three day period. Breeder will not replace puppy for any reason; but not limited to allergy, mortality, landlord’s disapproval, disagreement of family, or any other problems not related to health especially ear cropping. That is an elective (cosmetic) surgery & doesn’t have to be done. That procedure is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I do not offer ear cropping. Nor for a puppy’s illness caused by neglect, evidence of abuse, exposure to weather, injury, choking, poisoning, etc. No warranty or guarantee is made to the disposition, life-span, size, color, show quality, or breeding quality of any puppy. Breeder will not be liable for any expenses including but not limited to: any veterinary bills, shipping a replacement, or other expenses.  Should a licensed veterinarian diagnose the puppy with a life threatening genetic defect, having been there from birth, the breeder will replace the puppy, limited to one year from the date of birth. Buyer must return the puppy with the genetic defect along with documentation to receive a replacement when it becomes available. No replacement will, at any time, be made on a deceased puppy until an autopsy is performed to determine cause of death. Such an autopsy must be performed by an accredited institution set up for such procedures such as The University of Iowa. Autopsies performed by a local veterinarian will not be accepted. The autopsy will accompany any request for a replacement. Bad bites, retained testicles & hernias are excluded from this health guarantee. If it is evident before the puppy leaves, it will be sold on limited registration, only as a pet & should not be bred. If a puppy is being sold on a limited registration basis, no registration papers with any registry AKC, CKC , etc., will be given until proof of the spay/neuter of the puppy is provided from a licensed vet. No exceptions!!! The buyer must contact the breeder immediately upon discovery of a genetic defect. Any delay in doing so voids this guarantee. The breeder also reserves the right to have the puppy examined by his/her vet before he/she agrees to replace the puppy in question. We do not refund money at any time, only the puppy is replaced with a puppy of equal value. Buyer will be responsible for the shipping. This guarantee is null and void if the buyer fails to maintain annual check ups with a qualified veterinarian. This guarantee is non- transferable. Proof of said maintenance must be furnished upon request of breeder. No guarantee is given for any kind of worm, coccidiosis, kennel cough, giardia or mites. These parasites are all too common to pups and can be contracted from your water, soil, or boarding facility & they are treatable. Your puppy has been wormed frequently from two weeks of age until your possession. It is your responsibility to continue to worm your puppy and check for parasites. No guarantee is given for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). This condition is not hereditary & is very preventable. Vaccination schedules must be no less than three weeks apart and no more than four weeks apart for a series of four. Rabies vaccines & heart worm preventive cannot be administered before 16 weeks of age. If you allow your veterinarian to do any of these procedures too early, your guarantee is void. Any dog that has sired or whelped one or more puppies is no longer covered under this guarantee. All legal disputes are to be settled in county & state of breeders residency. If for any reason the buyer cannot keep the puppy, please contact the breeder to help place him/her in another home & don’t surrender him/her to a shelter.
Acceptance of this puppy or puppies constitutes acceptance of this agreement.
